Artist's Description
This picture was taken several years ago on my trip to France, with the primary intent to visit Claude Monet's garden in Giverny and the water lily pond that can be seen in so many of his paintings at museums around the world. This image includes both the Japanese Footbridge on the left and the water lilies in the foreground.
When I arrived at Giverny, I couldn't believe I was there. Everything I saw in the garden I had to photograph at different angles and just kept clicking the shutter away. Giverny has been on my list of places to visit for a long time.
