Description
Water, wind , freezes, and thaws, over millions of years ago have carved into the plateau endless distinctive red rock pillars called hoodos. Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah is at an elevation of 8,000 to 9,000 feet, therefore there are opportunities for winter sports such as snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.
This was taken while hiking along Bryce Canyon on a hot October day in the midst of the hoodos.
